Club News: Twirlers Square Dance Club

 

 

     Those who would like to join in the fun of modern square dancing and great afternoons of entertainment are invited to join the Twirlers Square Dance Club, which is starting a new class on Wednesday, September 19, at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Beginning square dance classes are held every Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge and are open to both residents and non-residents. The class is open to new students for the first two weeks. Singles, couples and families are welcome – children must be in 4th grade or above and accompanied by a parent at all times. Classes are $5 each week for individuals, $10 for families; the first night is free. For more information, call Rosalie at 244-0672 or Andy at 764-3347.


     A plus-level workshop is held from 6:15 to 7 p.m. Regular club dances are held on the second Sunday of each month in the Holiday Bay Room.


     Led by Diana Gallagher, beginner line dance classes are held every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m., at the Lodge, except for the second Tuesday of the month when they are held in the City Multi-purpose Room. All ages are welcome. A beginning to intermediate line dance class is offered Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Each class is $4.
